Produced by Francesca Avani, Bridge Street Belly Dance is a professional fusion belly dance showcase that takes place in Catskill, New York. With belly dance being the common language, this carefully curated lineup consists of dancers who thoughtfully fuse different styles together to create their own authentic expression.
Passionate about highlighting the creative process, in addition to annual shows, Bridge Street Belly Dance also hosts workshops and dance residencies to support innovation, collaboration, and artistic growth.
“BEFORE” is a film produced by JD Urban & Francesca Avani in 2021 that follows seven dancers as they create new work inspired by and in spite of a pandemic that threatened their sense of community.
